Canitrail-Days Franconian Switzerland: A weekend full of adventure with your dog
Embark on an unforgettable human-dog adventure in idyllic Franconian Switzerland! We cordially invite you and your four-legged friend to our three-day event, which perfectly combines sport, nature and community.
Unique camping weekend with the Simply Outside team
Enjoy three varied canoe trails in a relaxed atmosphere, without any pressure to perform. Our trails offer something for everyone - whether you prefer running, hiking or a mixture of both. The trail lengths vary between 8 and 20 km depending on the weather and all start at the cozy Waldesruh campsite.
Individual support
Our team from Simply-Outside will accompany you and your dog in three performance groups so that you can concentrate fully on the experience. We are on hand all weekend to answer questions and give tips on training, dog pulling and equipment.
You can find more information about our grouping and our guides here.
Workshop: Mobility/Run
Specially designed for trainers, this workshop offers insights and exercises to keep you and your dogs fit and healthy.
Community around the campfire
Spend cozy evenings around the campfire, surrounded by beautiful forests, and enjoy a vegan dinner together on Saturday - a perfect opportunity to share the experiences of the day and strengthen the community.
Flexibility when booking
Individual days can also be booked! Choose what suits you and your dog best.
Procedure at a glance
1 base camp, 2 nights, 3x trail fun - everything starts and ends at the Waldesruh campsite, where dogs are very welcome. Please note that the campsite must be booked separately under Waldesruh campsite. Please state "Simply Outside Event" when making your reservation and do not choose a specific pitch number - this way we stay together as a group.
Important: Please book the campsite immediately after registration
Friday
Arrival, getting to know each other and Canitrail #1 "Run into the twilight" with headlamp.
Saturday
Canitrail #2, followed by our mobility workshop and a vegan dinner together.
Sunday
Canitrail #3 "Trailpawradies" and joint final discussion.
Equipment
The equipment required is the same as for canicross: a running harness for you and a suitable pulling harness and pulling line for your dog. These can also be borrowed from us. Good running shoes with a strong grip are also important, preferably trail running shoes. We also recommend a trail running rucksack (vest) to carry water, bars, treats, first aid and possibly a folding bowl for the dog. Depending on the weather, we also recommend a rain or wind jacket.
All dogs welcome
All dogs are welcome to join us, provided they are in good health and able to master the route. If your dog has problems with other dogs, our guides will ensure sufficient distance and safety. If necessary, you can also walk with a muzzle.
We are looking forward to experiencing three days full of #humandogadventures with you and your dogs. Register now and be part of this unique weekend!
